Visas

All tourists (except nationals of India, Bangladesh and Maldives) must obtain a visa prior to departure. All tourists must book your travel by local licensed tour operators through proper booking procedure which Bhutan  Outlander  Travel is one . Visas are applied by your local tour operator through online and it is not required that you visit a Bhutanese Embassy or consulate.

Your holiday must be paid in full along with visa fee of 40$, via a wire transfer to our accounts maintained with TourismCouncil of Bhutan and Bhutan National Bank before a visa is issued. Visa clearance takes no longer than 72 hours once full payment has been received. At the point of entry the visa will be stamped in your passport. The cost of visa fee differs depending upon the entries you made and extensions of visa can be obtained from Tourism Council of Bhutan  by paying the extension cost. You will also be subject to the daily tariff for the additional days. Permit to enter into Bhutan is issued on your arrival to the residents of India, Bangladesh and Maldives only.
